INDIAN PEANUT VARIETIES The 2 major varieties of Peanuts produced in India are Bold (Runners) and Java (Spanish). The Bold variety peanuts have typically reddish brown skin with oblong shape, while Java variety have pink skin with spheroidal in shape.
